This was another donation for the shelf from my friend C. I didn’t fancy reading anything after finishing Daughter of Smoke and Bone but picked this up anyway. It was a super quick read as it’s quite short.
It was originally a play written by Agatha in 1958 and novelized in 1999. I like reading novelized plays. Weird I know. I think because I know it was meant to be staged I automatically put it on a stage in my mind. I quite like that the action is set in one or two rooms and it ‘feels’ like a play. Maybe that’s a bad thing.
And it was good, I enjoyed it and was guessing who did it right up to the second it was revealed. Clever. Oh Agatha, v. clever.
