Bloom – Sweet William and Philadelphus


I re-cycled some of the sweet william stems from a recent arrangement. I have mentioned before that they are long-lasting flowers which makes them such good value to buy or grow and I couldn’t waste these beauties even though everything else in the vase had gone over.

And while I was walking in the wood I caught the scent of Philadelphus flowers so I picked a few of those too. (I don’t go around picking flowers from any old wood by the way. This wood is private and owned by all the houses surrounding it.)


The scent from those flowers is so amazing. They call it the mock orange although I don’t think it’s very orangey just heavenly though.
