Photo a Day – Week Forty Three and Forty Four

One week of 2017 to catch up on and then a new year. Her we go.

Christmas Day was quieter than normal with less of our clan around for present opening and lunch. Not sure I like it calmer…….. (remind me of that when there are 12 of us trying to open gifts this December!)

Blurry, yes but still wonderful. The baby is growing up already (sat on her Aunts knee…!) and my Mum. Look at that elf outfit. So cute!

My sister and I walked my nephews pooches. Yes another blurry on but had to share, he is 5 months…… he’s gonna be huge, just look at those paws!

Write a blog post or eat the chocs…….

I spent a lovely Christmas Eve afternoon with Gav watching It’s a Wonderful Life and making a very last minute wreath for our back door. This year was definitely the year of the wreath. I had planned to round up all the ones I made and do a post but it’s too late now. I’ll set a date in the calendar for November and get making them again. I love, love making wreaths.

My brother in law got this photo as H and I walked back up the hill after our sledge run.

These were possible the lightest pancakes I have made. I had to use Self Raising flour instead of plain. I must remember that in future.

Lovely winter light on the greenhouse.

And onto the new year.

We like our cheese and crackers around here. And look I even added fruit.

Our local Starbucks ran out of Eggnog already so we went on adventure to find some in Leeds city centre. It had to be documented….. the last eggnog of the season.

Tootsies on the yoga mat.

Pawsies on the yoga mat! He’s doing a great downward dog there!

Our little tree back outside and given a really good drink.

Gav and his home-made circuit board. Buddy is as impressed as I am.

And that was that.

Wonderful catch up. Yes baby girl is growing up SO fast & cute cute cute in elf outfit. Your wreath is lovely, really lovely. We received an evergreen wreath made from Nova Scotia balsam & it smelt fabulous only couldn’t bring it into the house because the cats would not leave it alone, so it stayed outside & greeted us on our back door from garage to house. Mr Man was suitable impressed with Gav’s circuit board.
